The next step, it seems, is getting people to take the leap into becoming a scientist.
In the meantime, the goal of the Religious Science Training Initiative (RSITI) is to create an online platform to teach people the basics of scientific method.
“It’s about being able to explain things, to understand things, and to explain it in a way that people can understand,” said Scott Wahl, the organization’s executive director.
“We’re also working with universities and companies to create a community that is accessible and open.”

In a letter sent to supporters, RSITI said its mission is to teach a young person the basics that would have been difficult or impossible for them to learn online.
But the organization said it wants to build on its successes by connecting people who want to do science, science education and religious learning.
“The idea is to build a network of scientists, students, and religious people who share similar goals to share their experience, and we think we can all be a part of that,” Wahl said.
“This is a great opportunity for young people to learn about science and to build community.
It will also give them an opportunity to learn more about how the scientific method works.”
RSITAIs a partnership between the American Institutes for Research (AIF) and the University of Arizona.
The program will be led by the Arizona Center for Science Education, a division of the University.
Wahl is a founding member of AIF, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and has worked with AIF and other faith-based organizations to build the platform.
In addition to the basic science curriculum, the platform will have video tutorials on topics such as thermodynamics, quantum physics, the theory of relativity, and more.

In 2013, Wahl was honored with a fellowship from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute to lead the creation of the first online science and religion education resource, The Scientific Method.
That project focused on creating a platform that allowed people to search for a specific topic, like a doctor’s website, and learn about the scientific methodology.
“That was the first platform that had a scientific approach to education,” Wock said.
Now that RSITi has become the focus of the project, Wock and his team have a lot more to do.
“I think what we’ve done is we have to make sure that we’re building this really robust platform, so that it can reach a lot of different people,” Wachs said.
RSITIs goal is to be the first website that people go to to learn the basics, like why a certain theory is true, or how a certain experiment works, and then to get a better understanding of science itself.
RSITS educational goals include teaching students about science, and showing them how to create their own online classes and projects.
The site will also offer lessons on how to make a science project, how to study science in school, and how to learn from other scientists.
The first lesson will cover the basics in biology, chemistry, physics, and biology.
Next, the students will be given the opportunity to take a survey that will help them understand how science is taught and how it affects people.
“In the next year, we’re going to be talking about how we can teach the rest of our curriculum,” Wachi said.
The goal is that students will also be able to apply their knowledge of science and engineering to a number of different subjects.
In particular, they’ll be able be exposed to topics such the theory and methodology of evolution, climate change, the relationship between the human and the planet, and the ethics of scientific research.
“If we have these conversations, then we have a chance to have a really robust foundation for a really successful science education,” said Wachi.
RSI is also working on creating an online database of scientific papers and publications, and hopes to have it online within a year.
The platform will also include resources to help people get started with a scientific career.
“What I see as really important for us is the ability to really bring people into the science community and help them learn about it, because it’s such an important part of our culture,” Waffah said.
In 2018, Waffahl also began a new project, called The Scientific Alliance, which aims to create tools for scientific education.
The alliance is a collaborative effort between the Association of American Publishers, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the Association for Computing Machinery, the Society for Science and Engineering Education, and others.
RSISTI is working with AAPI and other scientific associations to create the platform that will be used to teach science and technology.
