FourFourOne article A new religion class will begin in Scottsendale High School in fall 2017.

The classes will offer a religious science degree to the graduating class of 2019.

“We’ve always had a lot of interest in this, and have been working with the school to really see what kind of curriculum they want to create,” Scottsville Schools Superintendent Dr. Richard C. Pang told FourFourtwo.

The classes will begin with a one-credit course on religion.

That will be followed by a three-credit class on scientific inquiry, philosophy and religious science.

The first class will be offered in January 2019 and will cover the foundations of science and religion.

The second class will open in June 2019 and cover the history and philosophy of science.

The third class will start in September 2019 and the fourth class will take place in December 2019.

The last class will close on March 31, 2021.

The course will also be available in other areas, including the philosophy of language and the philosophy and psychology of religion.

Scottsdale High School officials said they plan to offer religious science and philosophy as a course of study for all students by the middle of next year.
